Making cookies for my friends and family (and a fair few for me and the boy). Here’s the various steps taken in my Suzi chocolate chip cookies…

The first few steps look a bit iffy…and suddenly BAM they become cookie dough.

Because I’m intelligent, I decided that the best time of year to wash my car is 23rd December…*shivers*

But at least it’s clean and shiny!

Since we couldn’t get our Christmas chicken earlier on in the week, the boy and I are on a mission today; to find the perfect Christmas chicken!

Now we are stuck in traffic after supermarket number one was a bust (there was one chicken that was the right size, but it looked like it’d been fairly sick in it’s life)…and we’re not happy. Especially as we’re being forced to spend time together *shudder*

After seeing the ice and snow yesterday, it made me feel all kinds of in the Christmas spirit. So today I’m lighting my gingerbread candle, mulling some cider [drinking it from my Wonder Woman mug] and watching ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ (it’s always on every Christmas).

Unable to sleep. Found a pad. A decent pen. Wrote a poem, about my glass of wine…

Great final of Strictly…Harry won…*dances*

Back at home now after driving on very icy roads and almost smooshing some rebellious puppies in the road. Glass of wine and some crisps to help me chillax…oh and old school Buffy episodes!

Despite not being able to drink, I’m designated driver, I’m starting to feel giddy from the conversation. Waiting for Strictly to start again…and see who is leaving…

After job centre stuffs, we’re heading up to Lancaster to help unpack baby stuff and sort out printers…road trip baby!

Got home safely, sang Sally the Camel and missed an overturned lorry (just).

Relaxing at home with my gingerbread candle, sparkling wine and some Ferrero Rocher…oh and a Waffle!
